TP53 and cancer: Acetylation modifications targeting PPARγ and P53 have also been investigated in cancer-induced differentiation, which occurred in the PGCC lines HEY and MDA-MB-231 PDCs that underwent induction of lipogenic differentiation, and in MDA-MB-231 PDCs with mutant P53, treatment with histone acetylase inhibitors reduced histone acetylation enzyme p300 activity, and the reduction of p300 activity inhibited the acetylation of P53, thereby reducing lipidogenic differentiation [13].
