In preclinical models, ATRi kills tumor cells with loss of ataxia telangiectasia mutated (ATM) (9), AT-rich interactive domain-containing protein 1A (ARID1A) (10), and specific components of the DDR pathway (11–13) or those driven by oncogenes such as cyclin E and Myc (14–16). This evidence concerns the gene ARID1A and neoplasm.
