We found that hlh-30 RNAi (Figures S4E–S4H), or lipl-1 RNAi (Figures S4I–S4L) in the intestine (VP303) (Figures 6A, B), but not in the neuron (TU3311) (Figurea S4E, S4I), muscle (WM118) (Figures S4F, S4J), germline (DCL569) (Figures S4G , S4K) or hypodermis (NR222) (Figures S4H, S4L), exhibited enhanced sensitivity to PA14 infection, suggesting that a lysosomal pathway acts in the intestine for PA14 defense. The gene discussed is LIPJ; the disease is infection.
