Consistently, RT-qPCR analyses revealed that six p38/PMK-1-dependent genes, including K08D8.5 (43), F08G5.6 (11), F55G11.4 (42), F35E12.5 (44), C14C6.5 (42) and C17H12.8 (45) were significantly up-regulated upon PA14 infection in wild-type and inx-14(ag17) mutants (Figure 3K).
