MACROH2A1 and Glucose intolerance: While we observed a similar non statistically significant trend at the baseline, our macroH2A1.1 KO male mice in the same C57BL/6 genetic background appear more resistant than their wild type littermates to develop glucose intolerance upon a HFD, suggesting that the systemic presence of macroH2A1.2 isoform could be conferring metabolic protection more pronounced in males than in females.
