Together, there data suggest that CT45A1 is a new activator of oncogenic SRC, and there is a novel pro-tumorigenic CT45A1-FN1-SRC-ERK-CREB signaling pathway in cervical cancer (Fig. 5G), importantly, CT45A1 is at the front of the signaling pathway; and silencing of CT45A1 inhibits multiple oncogenic signaling pathways. This evidence concerns the gene CREB1 and cervical carcinoma.
