ELN and Colonic diverticula: Among other common clinical features, WBS patients report gastrointestinal (GI) disturbances including difficulties with feeding and swallowing, vomiting, gastroesophageal reflux, diverticular diseases, diverticulitis, celiac disease, chronic constipation, diarrhoea, malabsorption, diverticulosis/diverticulitis, and rectal prolapse2,3,6–9, which may be consequence of the impaired intestinal wall elasticity, associated to lack of a functional elastin and/or of eating habits with a low dietary fiber intake2,3,9.
