These results were confirmed by detecting the intracellular HIV-1 Cap24 capsid in ACE2-TMPRSS2-A549 cells (Figure 6G, Supplementary Figure 5A), ACE2-A549 cells (Supplementary Figure 5B) and Vero E6 cells (Figure 6H, Supplementary Figure 5C) that were infected by S-GFP-LV during 4 hours in presence (or not) of OxATP, BzATP or serum of convalescent COVID-19 patients (Figures 6G, H, Supplementary Figures 5A-C) and revealed that purinergic receptor P2X7 does not regulate SARS-CoV-2 entry into host cells.
