The patients with CML had far more diverse NK cell repertoire than healthy, although the majority (60.7% in diagnosis) were annotated as active CD56dim NK cells (cluster 0), with significantly upregulated expression of cytotoxic markers (e.g., FCGR3A/CD16, GMZA/B/M/H), cytokines (e.g., CCL3/4, IFNG), and activation markers (e.g., TIGIT). The gene discussed is IFNG; the disease is chronic myelogenous leukemia, BCR-ABL1 positive.
