The average LRG1 level differed significantly according to the quartiles of urinary albumin excretion (Q1 [<7.7 mg/g], 17.1 μg/mL, 95% CI 15.0–19.1; Q2 [7.7–15.0 mg/g], 17.5 μg/mL, 95% CI 15.5–19.4; Q3 [15.1–61.4 mg/g], 18.6 μg/mL, 95% CI 16.6–20.6; Q4 [≥61.5 mg/g], 22.3 μg/mL, 95% CI 20.3–24.4; p for trend = 0.003), after being adjusted for age, sex, smoking, body mass index, systolic BP, hyperlipidemia, hs-CRP, duration of diabetes, HbA1c, use of ARB/ACEi, OHAs and insulin.
