Comparison of the expression of A2AR in these lymphocyte subsets indicated that A2AR was significantly upregulated in tumor-infiltrating lymphocytes relative to their counterparts in the tumor-draining lymph node, but this was more apparent with conventional CD8+ and CD4+ lymphocytes (5 fold increased expression in tumor relative to draining lymph node) than with NK, NKT and γδ T cells (all ~1.5 fold increased expression in the tumor) (Fig. 2B, G). This evidence concerns the gene ADORA2A and neoplasm.
