These genes function as an ABC transporter upregulated in several cancers (ABCA2)( 75 ), a member of the tricarboxylic acid cycle involved in metabolism of tumorigenesis (Acss1) (76), growth promoter kinase, a proto-oncogene present in intestinal cancers(Araf) (77), cysteine desulfurase, shown upregulated in Crohn’s disease (CSAD) ( 78), interleukin binding enhancer (Ilf3) (79), and a negative regulator of the innate immune response against pathogens (TRAFD1) ( 80) that are found to be upregulated in IBD and colon cancer development. Here, ABCG2 is linked to intestinal cancer.
