In the present study, ZNF‐148 was overexpressed in breast cancer tissues and cell lines, which agreed with previous evidence,25 and further, gain‐ and loss‐of‐function experiments showed that ZNF‐148 positively regulated malignant phenotypes, including cell proliferation, epithelial‐mesenchymal transition (EMT), and in vivo tumorigenesis in breast cancer. The gene discussed is ZNF148; the disease is breast cancer.
