CD4 and AIDS: Despite randomization, the two groups differed in the proportion of those who were previously diagnosed with AIDS (18.2% DTG/3TC n = 6 vs. 9.1% B/F/TAF n = 3), but the absolute number of participants with previous AIDS was very low (6 patients vs. 3), and nadir CD4 count also tended to be higher in the dual regimen (303 vs. 268 cell/μL).
