The results indicated that high THSD7A expression may promote the progression of gastric adenocarcinoma via processes such as epithelial-mesenchymal transition (EMT), the activity of cell adhesion molecules, inflammatory responses, angiogenesis, vascular smooth muscle contraction, the IL2-STAT5 signaling pathway, focal adhesion, and ECM-receptor interaction (Figure 5A, 5B). Here, THSD7A is linked to gastric adenocarcinoma.
