Our findings suggested that KLF9 is upregulated in COPD and its silencing alleviates NLRP3 inflammasome‐mediated airway inflammation through the miR‐494‐3p/PTEN axis, which proposed KLF9, miR‐494‐3p, PTEN as potential targets for the diagnosis and treatment of COPD. This evidence concerns the gene PTEN and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.
