SOX4 and osteosarcoma: According to the study by Chen et al., [22] SOX4 is highly expressed in osteosarcoma tissues and is associated with poor prognosis, knockdown of the SOX4 gene inhibited cell proliferation, migration, invasion, and induced apoptosis in the osteosarcoma cell lines, indicating that it may play an oncogene role in the malignant process of osteosarcoma.
