To investigate how miR‐142‐5p contributes to enhanced migration and invasiveness of cervical cancer cells we performed an in‐silico target prediction that identified subunits of the succinate dehydrogenase (SDH) complex with miR‐142‐5p binding sites in their 3′UTRs including SDHC and SDHD (Fig. 3A). The gene discussed is SDHD; the disease is cervical cancer.
