ADIPOQ and aortic valve stenosis: In observational analyses (the same study, as shown in Figures 2, 3, and 5), a 1 unit log-transformed higher plasma adiponectin was associated with a hazard ratio of 1.51 (95% CI: 1.37–1.66) for heart failure, 1.63 (1.50–1.78) for atrial fibrillation, 1.21 (1.03–1.41) for aortic valve stenosis, and 1.03 (0.93–1.14) for myocardial infarction (Figure 6).
