In the present study, dapagliflozin significantly abrogated the effects of LPS on PI3K/Akt/mTOR signaling in the brain which coincided with Lin et al. [33] who postulated that the combatting effects of SGLT2 inhibitors against neurological disorders are derived from their ability to modulate PI3K/Akt/endothelial nitric oxide synthase signaling with subsequent affection of mTOR activation. This evidence concerns the gene NOS3 and nervous system disorder.
