Dabrafenib, a selective BRAF inhibitor, and trametinib, a MEK1/2 inhibitor, were evaluated via subprotocol H (EAY131-H) of the NCI-MATCH platform trial, which was an open-label, single-arm study enrolling 35 patients with a BRAF V600E mutated solid malignancy, excluding patients with melanoma, thyroid, colorectal, and non-small-cell lung cancer [77]. This evidence concerns the gene BRAF and non-small cell lung carcinoma.
