This diagnosis focuses on the clinical prognostic differences observed in histological grade 2–3 IDH wild-type diffuse astrocytic gliomas, and gliomas meeting this diagnosis need to contain at least one of the following criteria: (1) TERT promoter mutation, (2) chromosome 7 amplification/chromosome 10 deletion, and (3) EGFR amplification. This evidence concerns the gene IDH2 and central nervous system cancer.
