The decreased proliferation and migration of YDFR.CB3, DP.CB2, and M16.CB3 melanoma cells exposed to factors released from JunBlo microglia may have been instigated by an increased transcription of SOCS3, a negative feedback regulator of the STAT3 signaling pathway [80], mediating melanoma cell proliferation and migration [81,82]. The gene discussed is SOCS3; the disease is melanoma.
