Among the significantly upregulated proteins in JunBhi microglia cells we found the proteins: CD44, caveolin-1, glucocorticoid receptor, and TRAP1, all of which were found to be associated with reduced inflammatory response or resolution of inflammation in macrophages [35,36,37,38], and therefore may facilitate tumor-supporting properties in JunBhi microglia. This evidence concerns the gene CAV1 and neoplasm.
