Hsa-miR-92a, which was the fourth most upregulated miRNA in our study, was found to be overexpressed in NSCLC tissues and cell lines, and implicated in promoting epithelial–mesenchymal transition (EMT) by activating the PTEN/PI3K/AKT signaling pathway, according to a study by Liu et al. [58]. The gene discussed is PTEN; the disease is non-small cell lung carcinoma.
