We aimed to demonstrate the potential antipruritic and anti-inflammatory effects of RIPsC in female BALB/c mice by creating an experimental ACD model with 1-fluoro-2,4-dinitrobenzene (DNFB), counting scratching behaviour, measuring ear oedema, and determining cytokine levels and the involvement of mast, neutrophil, CD4+ and CD8+ T cells. The gene discussed is CD8A; the disease is granular corneal dystrophy type II.
