The first drug targeting SIRP/CD47 interaction was CC-90002, an anti-CD47 monoclonal antibody, whose results were presented in 2019: among the 24 R/R AML patients and 4 high-risk (HR) R/R MDS patients treated, no objective response was documented, with an 82% rate of treatment-emergent adverse events [97]. This evidence concerns the gene CD47 and myelodysplastic syndrome.
