Some SNPs of the panel (LIPC rs1800588, LPL rs13702, FABP2 rs1799883, ABCA1 rs9282541, CETP rs708272, PPARG rs1801282, APOA5 rs662799, APOC3 rs5128, APOA1 rs670, APOE rs7412, and rs429358) have a high prevalence in the Mexican population and are associated with the most common dyslipidemias in this population [13,14,15]. This evidence concerns the gene APOA1 and metabolic syndrome.
