Both HIF-1α-high PDACs and GLUT1-high PDACs had a larger tumor size (3.68 ± 1.76 vs. 3.07 ± 1.03 p = 0.002; 3.80 ± 1.70 vs. 2.90 ± 1.10 p = 0.002, respectively) and were more prone to lymph node metastasis (p = 0.009 and p = 0.026, respectively). Here, HIF1A is linked to metastatic malignant neoplasm in the lymph nodes.
