Brentuximab vedotin, an antibody-drug conjugate medication used for the treatment of relapsed or refractory Hodgkin’s lymphoma (HL) and systemic anaplastic large cell lymphoma (ALCL), consists of monomethyl auristatin E (MMAE), which is a synthetic analogue of a marine-derived peptide, dolastatin 10, conjugated with a chimeric monoclonal antibody, cAC10, that targets CD30 protein which is expressed abundantly in cancer cells [19]. The gene discussed is TNFRSF8; the disease is Hodgkins lymphoma.
