CCK and hypertriglyceridemia: There was no difference in the biliary lipid composition, fasting gall bladder volume, and CCK levels of hypertriglyceridemia patients, but they did have reduced gall bladder emptying times compared with patients with normal TG, according to a previous study [45]; this may explain why TG had no role in the recurrence of common bile duct stones after cholecystectomy.
