Although inactivation of this miRNA has not been associated with the presence of p53 mutations, it is known that mutations of this protein are frequent in patients with CLL and have been associated with resistance to chemotherapy and a poor prognosis [62], so it would be interesting to demonstrate whether there is an association between the presence of p53 mutants and miR-3151 expression, as well as its possible relationship with chemotherapy resistance and/or prognosis in patients with CLL. Here, TP53 is linked to B-cell chronic lymphocytic leukemia.
