For that, we analyzed the allele and genotype distribution of rs17880560 (TP53), rs11269260 (BCL2), rs4647655 (CASP3), rs4645982, and rs61079693 (CASP9) in BC patients and cancer-free individuals from northern Brazil in search of new biomarkers for this neoplasm. This evidence concerns the gene CASP9 and breast cancer.
