Beyond these considerations, the most plausible explanation for the observed elevation of NGF plasma levels (Figure 10 and Figure 11) and reduced S1P plasma levels (Figure 12 and Figure 13) in our cases of MS patients could be due to the removal of autoantibodies (Figure 14, Figure 15 and Figure 16) against NGF-producing cells and NGF itself (discussed above) as well as direct loss of S1P with discarded plasma [159]. Here, NGF is linked to myeloid sarcoma.
