BRCA2 and breast neoplasm: Figure 2 shows that approximately 50% of women have imbalanced hormonal levels, which increases the chances of BC development whereas in Europe and Africa, the estimated prevalence of BC due to hormonal abnormalities is 40%. Various risk factors contribute to the progression of breast tumors at various levels. All regions discussed in this review showed variable data on individual factors associated with the prevalence of BC all over the world. Presence of mutant genes (BRCA1 and BRCA2) can increase the incidence of BC up to 80% of women populations as compared to non-mutant genes (78).
