In Korea, the HD Quality Assessment recommends that 22 laboratory tests (hemoglobin, platelet count, total protein, albumin, glucose, urea, creatinine, uric acid, sodium, potassium, total calcium and phosphorus every month, iron status, PTH, HbA1C (for people with diabetes), and chest radiograph every 3 months, viral markers, and electrocardiogram every 6 months) be performed regularly.
