Seven patients (7 cases, 41.2%) were performed skin biopsy to further confirm the SJS/TEN, the primary histological characteristics were focal full thickness epidermal necrosis, basal vacuolar changes, and perivascular lymphocytic infiltrates in the papillary dermis, positivity with CD3 and CD8 antibodies. This evidence concerns the gene CD8A and Schwartz-Jampel syndrome.
