Interestingly, our findings showed that in the smoker group, the T/C genotype of c.47 T>C (p.Val16Ala)–SOD2 (rs4880) SNP was associated with an elevated risk of urolithiasis development (Crude OR 2.521; 1.112–5.713 95% CI; p < 0.05), whereas in non-smoker group we did not observe this association. Here, SOD2 is linked to urolithiasis.
