Finally, we noted subtle differences in the extent to which Bcl2 is inhibited and Caspase 3 is activated following CK21 treatment of the two pancreatic tumor cell lines and two patient-derived organoids; these observations underscore the notion that broad inhibition of RNA transcription allows CK21 to leverage distinct vulnerabilities and pathways to achieve apoptosis in different tumor cells.
