The data from 2 studies (Kirana et al. [26] and Emirzeoglu et al. [34]) with 362 patients were pooled, and the results demonstrated that high HLA-G expression was associated with shorter CSS in patients with CRC (HR = 2.76, 95% CI = 1.23–6.21, P = 0.014) (Fig. 2e). This evidence concerns the gene HLA-G and colorectal carcinoma.
