A high frequency of somatic mutations in IDH1 (isocitrate dehydrogenase 1), FH (fumarate hydratase), as well as SDH A–D and F (succinate dehydrogenase) genes is observed in gliomas, hepatobiliary cancers, neuroendocrine carcinomas, renal cell carcinomas, and melanomas [31]. This evidence concerns the gene FH and central nervous system cancer.
