Patients in these studies were excluded if they had received EGFR inhibitors or VEGF receptor inhibitors previously, had cardiovascular diseases (myocardial infarction, unstable angina, congestive heart failure, symptomatic arrhythmia, substantial peripheral vascular disease, uncontrolled hypertension, etc.), coagulopathy, abnormal hematological and liver function tests, or used warfarin or equivalents. Here, EGFR is linked to cardiac arrhythmia.
