Nonperipheral washout was associated with more frequent poor tumor differentiation (35% vs. 19%, p < 0.001), increased MVI (38% vs. 23%, p = 0.01), more frequent MTM subtype (28% vs. 8% p = 0.03), and less frequent positive CK19 expression (13% vs. 28%, p = 0.048). This evidence concerns the gene KRT19 and neoplasm.
