Our results are largely consistent with data from previous RPGR-associated rod-cone dystrophy cohorts, with 1 study reporting the median age to legal blindness at the age of 45 years (n = 113)6 and another reporting a 20% probability of reaching the threshold of legal blindness at the age of 40 years (n = 52).2 The gene discussed is RPGR; the disease is blindness (disorder).
