The haplotype TGG (rs3755319-rs2003569-rs4148323) in UGT1A1 was discovered to be associated with a marginally higher risk of ATLI (OR = 5.071, 95% CI: 1.007–25.531, P = 0.049) [15], and no association was observed between rs3755319 and RIF pharmacokinetics in South African patients with TB [36]. This evidence concerns the gene UGT1A1 and tuberculosis.
