Interestingly, analysis from TCGA data (PanCancer Atlas) using cBioPortal also demonstrated a possible association between high levels of TNF-α and frequency of mycoplasma infection not only in prostate adenocarcinoma, but also in different types of tumors from the reproductive and urinary organs of males and females, such as uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma, bladder urothelial carcinoma, and ovarian serous cystadenocarcinoma (Table S1). The gene discussed is TNF; the disease is bladder transitional cell carcinoma.
