S. et al. demonstrated that PCa cells expressing α6 integrin (DU145 α6 WT) produced a 3D invasive network on laminin-containing Matrigel and invaded smooth muscle both in vitro and in vivo, and integrin α6 enhanced the intercellular biophysical properties in PCa [12]. This evidence concerns the gene TWF1 and posterior cortical atrophy.
