MTOR and renal cell carcinoma: Inhibiting the activation of PI3K/Akt/m TOR signal pathway can inhibit the progress of cell cycle,[48] and also regulate the expression of Bax and Bcl-2, thus inducing the process of cell apoptosis.[49,50] It has been reported that the growth of renal cell carcinoma cells can also be inhibited by regulating the PI3K/mTOR/p53 signal pathway.[51]
