The expression of Wnt3a in paracancerous tissue cells was minimal, whereas it exhibited significant cytoplasmic accumulation in colon carcinoma tissue, and β-catenin was only expressed in the cell membrane of the paracancerous tissue, but massively accumulated in the nucleus and cytoplasm of colon carcinoma tissue, indicating that an abnormal over-activation of the Wnt/β-catenin signaling pathway in colon carcinoma cells, which was consistent with the results reported in relevant literature 33. Here, WNT3A is linked to colon carcinoma.
