Recent results have found that the treatment of TC-1 cervical cancer tumor-bearing mice with the ER stress inducer, 3-BrPA, induces stress in tumor-bearing cells, which is accompanied by GRP78 upregulation, and produces potentially effective immune-mediated therapeutic antitumor effects by increasing the sensitivity of tumor cells to antigen-specific CD8 + T-cell-mediated killing. This evidence concerns the gene HSPA5 and cervical cancer.
