In order to confirm the role of p-p65 in promoting the proliferation, migration, and invasion of GC cells, we firstly used exogenous IL-1β (MCE, HY-P78459) to act on HGC-27 and MGC-803 control cells and INHBB knockdown cells, where we found that IL-1β could promote the phosphorylation of p65 in GC cells (Fig. 5D), thus inducing the simultaneous increase of cell proliferation, migration, and invasion (Fig. 5E-F, S7C). The gene discussed is INHBB; the disease is gastric cancer.
