Out of the paired samples of tumor and adjacent normalfrom lungadenocarcinoma (LUAD), lung squamous cell carcinoma (LSCC), head andneck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSCC), and clear cell renal cell carcinoma(CCRCC) studies, 5(4.9%), 4(4.2%), 5(8.2%), and 2(2.7%) patients,respectively, presented heterozygous HLA-A, HLA-B, or HLA-C genotypesin the adjacent normal samples while losing one allele in the correspondingtumor samples (Table 2). Here, HLA-A is linked to clear cell renal carcinoma.
